On line Phosphate
sludge separator
Source separation of
the phosphating sludge, so that bath life
increases. This equipment is attached to the
side of the main equipment and removes the
sludge on line. Hence we don't have to shut
down the operation every week for cleaning
up. There is no Monday quality and Friday
quality.
More than 25 equipments supplied so far volumes
ranging from 1-10m3 tanks.
Chemical saved 20%. Productivity increase
30%,saving that much pollution problem.
On line Acid
smut cleaning separator
This equipment is attached
to the side of the main equipment and removes
the smut or the particulates from Phosphoric
Acid/ Hydrochloric acid/sulphuric acid on
line. Hence we don't have to shut down the
operation every week for cleaning up. There
is no Monday quality Friday quality. Removal
of this sludge improves the life and productivity
of the bath.
More than 25 equipments supplied so far volumes
ranging from 1-3m3 tanks.
Chemical saved 20%. Productivity increase
30%, saving that much pollution problem.
Rinse water
recycling Equipments
Using unique pumps we
have developed, we could transfer the rinse
water from final rinse tank to acid rinse
and then to alkali rinse with the air power
from the side channel blower. We could cut
the rinse water use by one third. We have
had cases where we have reduced it by half.
This will also reduce the chemicals used for
neutralization. Please refer our ten point
programme for details.
We have implemented this systems in over 10
factories.
Reverse Osmosis
system to recycle the water
With chemical bath segregated,
oil removed by the TOS separator, it is very
easy now to recycle the water using RO.
All the above systems have been Already implemented
in leading auto-ancillary units in Chennai. |

At
present in many the surface finishing industries
the following are the typical observation:
•
Unmeasured quantity of rinse water used..
Sometimes ad'hoc measures were taken to reduce
it, like installing a timer or throttling
the valve.
•
No attention is paid to enhancing chemical
bath life. chemical were thrown into effluent
as a weekly or monthly routine.
•
All the effluents were mixed making them lose
the chemical identity. Because all the sludge's
were mixed, they cannot be put to a productive
use.
•
The effluent will invariably contain more
than the permissible level of TDS and hence
dilution is often resorted to, increasing
the disposal problem. |
