Whenever you want to improve the ETP, the
commonly available answer is.... Add one
or more equipment either of the same type
already existing or some new equipment.
Even though this would ease the situation,
more often than not the EP performance will
not be fully satisfactory, capital expenditure
notwithstanding. Soon top management begin
to realize that something needs to be done
innovatively.
In
3rd phase (out of box) technologies we provide
that "something" or the innovation
that makes it work what conventional things
can't. This is customization of the technology
to your plant requirement.
We study both the process and the treatment
scheme. By studying the process, we get
some ideas to cut down waste at source itself.
By studying the performance of each of the
equipment, we could innovatively arrive
at some process modifications, not commonly
used in the pollution control industry by
virtue of our R & D activities.
This approach improves the performance far
beyond the conventional approach.
Such a strategy has not only increased the
capacity of the existing plants, but in
some cases has also eliminated the treatment
plant. For one such project, we received
Dupont Corporate
Sustainable Award.
According
to our recent survey most of the organizations
are in Phase III of this cycle. Only those
companies that look ahead to the environmental
standards of the future and exploit the
technologies to meet the challenges, will
be able to make changes at a moment of their
own choosing and in tune with their own
investment cycle. By adopting technologies
that reduce costs as well as pollution,
these companies will be better placed to
stay ahead of the competition.
